FACILITIES
The centre provides self catering facilities both
indoors and outdoors for individual groups to run their own programmes.
Outdoors:
- Camping for up to 50-55 people
- Modern well equipped kitchen and dining room
- Separate sex toilet block with showers
Indoors:
- Centrally heated accommodation
- Three dormitories with bunk beds for up to 35 people
- Two staff rooms accommodating a further 5 people
- Staff lounge
- Dining hall and fully equipped kitchen
- Two toilet blocks with showers
- Drying room
Other facilities:
- Large hall approx 44 feet by 20 feet
- Tiled swimming pool complete with chlorination plant
- A resident warden is available throughout the year
for security
- Playing areas
- Slide wire and activity centre
Our resident warden, Roger Bunce, also gives advice on how best to take
advantage of the Moor's diversity with safety and offers assistance with
programmes.
