THE
BROADLEAS FETE
In order to keep the centre running and to improve the facilities available, a great deal of voluntary work is required in addition to the splendid work carried out by our resident Warden. This is mainly resourced by the BSA (Broadleas Supporters Association) and supplemented by young men working towards the Queen's Badge or D of E awards.
However, running a centre like Broadleas also requires
considerable finance and one of the ways in which money is raised is through the
annual Broadleas Fete. This is held in the middle of June and apart from raising
much needed funds, it is also a great social occasion and a base for District
Competitions.
Apart from anything else, it is a thoroughly enjoyable day out on
Dartmoor. Book this date now!
